Why We Baptize
Baptism is a powerful public declaration of faith — a symbol of dying to our old life and rising to walk in new life with Christ (Romans 6:4). Jesus Himself was baptized and commanded His followers to do the same, saying, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19). While baptism doesn't save us — salvation comes through faith in Christ alone — it is an act of obedience and testimony, letting others see the transformation God has already done in our hearts. We believe every believer is called to take this meaningful step, publicly identifying with Jesus and celebrating new life in Him.
